This is one of our most anticipated pairings of the year for blues!  Our super-blue male, Azure, crossed to our blue line female, Paris, who contains >50% blue blood with just enough outcrossed biak blood to maintain adequate genetic diversity.  Paris has produced super blues in the past when bred to Blue Deuce and this should yield equally, if not better, results in our mind.  Ofspring wil be 75% blue line! UPDATE: Paris laid 8 eggs and 8 slugs.  We lost a few eggs early on in incubation but expect a small hatch nonetheless.  We will be holding back the few viable expected offspring for future breeding projects here.

This is one of a few attempts this year at producing melanistic offspring with yellow and white contrasting pattern.  Furthermore, offspring have a remote chance of being possible hets for albino.  UPDATE: The female cycled early this season and by the time breeding commenced, we had missed her window of opportunity.

These outstanding animals are on breeding loan.  This pairing is a combined effort of Steven Roberts, Noe Perez and us.  The sire, Mint Chocolate Chip, contains 25% Joan Collins blood who is a sib to Powder and Tim Morris’ female.  He was paired with a beautiful tricolor animal we named Speckles for obvious reasons. Speckles sire (Signal Herp 96016) comes from a clutch that produced five high yellow siblings.  The sire’s lineage contains blood from some of Trooper’s Walsh’s most desired lines including founders from the Calico line (dating back to 1976) and Old Yeller line (of Philly Zoo origin).  The founding animals to these lines were outcrossed to Dallas Zoo’s blue founders to produce Speckles sire.  Speckles dam comes from TZP and NZP stock. Of note this breeding contains Philly Zoo and Van Mierop blood (known for white blotches and black flecking respectively).  This breeding also contains Flecks blood (known to produce yellow and black animals). We hope to produce high yellow and black offspring with blue highlights and the possibility of white blotches.  Furthermore, there is a high possibility this pair will produce an all maroon clutch!   UPDATE: Maron neonate available, inquire!

These snakes were paired with the goal of producing outstanding high yellow offspring with lots of melanistic traits.  Biak outcrosses have proven to throw outstanding offspring that are vigorous.  The sire shows a lot of melanistic and yellow traits inherited from its dam Flecks. Furthermore, the sire being 25% blue line allows these offspring to be line bred with other blue line animals while maintaining outstanding genetic diversity.  The dam was produced in 2003 by Signal Herp from two Indonesian imports that both contained a considerable amount of yellow.  We hope to produce an all maroon clutch of animals that will provide great genetically diverse stock to incorporate into blue, yellow and black projects in the future!  Thank you Steven Roberts for placing Mint Chocolate Chip on loan with us.   UPDATE: Maroon neonates now available!

This pairing was inspired by the Daddy Pants X TM blue female pairing and the Old Yeller X TW Powder pairing.  We have become fond of the blue line outcross yellow line pairings.  Blue Deuce is an offspring of one of the above-mentioned crosses. He contains 75% blue line genes and 25% biak outcrossed genes.  The dam, Watermelon, is a highland cross biak that comes from an all maroon clutch.  This pairing allows great genetic diversity for future blue line pairings.  We hope to augment the blue traits in combining a highland animal to the domestic blue line.  In addition, there is a great potential for nice yellow contrast with biak blood on both sides of the pedigree.  Thank you Bob Kelley for the opportunity to work with Watermelon.   UPDATE:  Eggs incubating, get on our list!

This pairing was inspired by the success BJ Arboreals had with their "Godiva Clutch."  A very similar reproduction combining similar genes from two maroon neonate blue line adults.  The dam, Lucy, is owned by Mike Rico.  She is a Blue Bird X Grasshopper blue female. Fresh blue line blood project #1 for this year.  This is a pairing that we put together with David Ramirez, owner of the dam.  We are combining the most concentrated blue line animal we own with an exceptional high blue pure Wamena.  This blue line outcross we will inject fresh blood into the blue line for future pairings.  We feel it is a necessity to outcross the domestic blue line with maroon neonate blue phenotype adults for its future survival.   Thank you David for the opportunity to work with this incredible female.   UPDATE:  Female did not ovulate.

	Fresh blue line blood project #2 for this year.  This breeding is a combined effort between Brandon Turner, Tommy Turner and John Wisser.  We are combining the most concentrated blue line animal we own with an exceptional green, blue and black pure Biak.  This blue line outcross we will inject fresh blood into the blue line for future pairings.  We are attempting to maximize Azure’s and Wicked’s black traits through highly melanistic offspring.  Both adults were maroon neonates, if successful, this clutch will be all maroon.   UPDATE:  Female is gravid.

The Palor male is a 1997 pure Lemon Tree.  He has been one of the Lemon Tree’s that have consistently proven to produce high yellow offspring when outcrossed.  Our favorite of these outcrossed pairings are from Dave Palor’s Lemon X Biak pairings.  We are outcrossing him to one of the coolest biaks we have ever seen.  Not only does Ms. Motley have black vertebral markings but also she has black flecking throughout her green and yellow body.  Ms. Motley was originally bought by Ryan Rhodes in Virginia as a red neonate.  We are attempting to produce high yellow and melanistic offspring from maroon neonates.  We would like to thank Bill Schwinn for the opportunity to work with Ms. Motley.    UPDATE:  Female is gravid.

We love the idea of producing high yellow and black offspring.  Did we mention blue?  We are pairing our high yellow calico line male to Mark Robertson’s Wyatt X Splash female.  The Calico male, Cal Ripkin, was a 2005 brown neonate offspring from Greg Maxwell’s Computer Chondro X Hershey cross.  What makes this cross interesting is that the Computer Chondro is a clutchmate of Aquagirl, Aquaman and Tim Morris’ original blue male.  Splash’s sire was the sire to Powder, Joan Collins and Tim Morris’ original blue female. So both the sire and dam in this pair are quarter blue line animals.  The outcrossed genes include extremely high yellow bloodline animals such as Hershey (Lemon Tree X Big Bird), NZP biak, John Hedger’s yellow female and the Wyatt female.  This should be cool, thanks Mark!   UPDATE:  Female did not ovulate.

Fresh blood project #3 for this year.  This breeding is a combined effort between Angelina McHiggins and us. The Palor male is a 1997 pure Lemon Tree.  He has been one of the Lemon Tree’s that have consistently proven to produce high yellow offspring when outcrossed.  Some of his most impressive offspring are Aru outcrosses.  Thus, our inspiration for this pairing. This Lemon Tree outcross will inject fresh blood into the Lemon Tree line for future pairings.  This pairing allows the Lemon Tree line to live on and we hope to be able to offer offspring at an extremely reasonable price so others can continue to work with this exceptional line.  We expect an all yellow clutch that should produce very nice tricolored chondros as adults.   UPDATE:  Female did not take.

We are very excited to work with Noe Perez on yet another outstanding project this year involving Big Blue.  Big Blue is a puppy dog tame huge blue female.  Noe Perez bought Big Blue as a Trooper Walsh creation about 6 years ago.  Her lineage is unknown however.  At the time she was purchased she was as blue as today.  She had produced one clutch of 18 eggs prior to being bought.  In 2006, she was bred to Blue Max and produced only 3 eggs.  Two of the three hatched, both maroons.  She was rested in 2007 and we accepted here on breeding loan in 2008.  We hope to use our Blue line biak outcross male, Blue Deuce, to line breed this female.  If successful, we are confident some nice blues should result.   UPDATE:  Slugs laid.

Thanks to Danny Brotto, we have the privilege to work with the only remaining female from the two Mr. Blue X Tim Morris blue female breedings.  She is a 1999 sibling to Azure, Mitey Blue, Goliath, Mola and the list goes on… She has some of the most concentrated blue line genes of any chondro. We hope to use our Blue line biak outcross male, Blue Deuce, to line breed this female.  If successful, we are confident some nice blues should result.  The offspring would be approximately 87.5% pure blue line!  The remaing biak outcross genes are completely unrelated to any animal in Brotto Blue’s lineage.    UPDATE:  Best blue line project for us this year!  Maroon neonates available now.  VERY LIMITED.

Green Tree Pythons  Biak Outcross Blue Line PROJECT # 14 2009 Planned Pairing SIRE: "Azure" Mr. Blue X Morris Blue Female Maroon neonate Sean Stewart Tim Morris/John Holland Blue Line Dam: |Aquaboy X Six female Maroon neonate Sandro DiPinto     In 2003, we did a project with Jack Sadovnik’s female Six and our Aquaboy  (Aquaman X Blue Diamond) male.  In 2004, an all maroon clutch was hatched.  Among our offspring was this female pictured above.  She was sold as a neonate to Sandro DiPinto and now has she been returned to us on breeding loan. Tim Morris and we produced Six’s sire, Pirate, in 1997 from Tim’s blue female crossed to our TW Philly Zoo male.  So Six contains blue genes from the Morris blue female who was produced by the founding female of the blue line TW 62-89  Aquaboy was produced in 2000 by Greg Maxwell and is an offspring from Aquaman X Blue Diamond.  Of note, Aquaman is a sibling to Tim Morris’ original male, Computer Chondro and Aquagirl.  Furthermore, Blue Diamond siblings include Zulu and St. Pepper.  This Aquaboy X Six female has a great lineage with strong relation to the blue line and calico line.  Thus, we thought she would be perfect for a melanistic blue line male like Azure.  Thanks Sandro for this opportunity.  If things work out, our involvement in creating these offspring can be traced back 4 generations or 13 years!   UPDATE:  Female did not ovulate.   Green Tree Pythons PROJECT # 15 2009 Planned Pairing SIRE: Crazy Daddy Pants X Morris Blue Female Maroon neonate Sean Stewart  Biak Outcross X Blue Lineage Toronto X Goliath female Sandrop DiPinto Maroon neonate Blue line X Houston Zoo It does not get better than this!  This breeding is a combined effort from Sandro DiPinto and us.  The dam is a green and blue mite phase female we produced in 2004 by crossing John Holland’s Goliath (MB X TM blue female) to our Houston Zoo blue female named Toronto (believed to be related to Dream).  The dam was a maroon neonate sold to Sando DiPinto and now returned to us on breeding loan.  This Toronto X Goliath dam is 50% concentrated blue line and 50% Houston Zoo line.  Crazy, the standout male from the Daddy Pants X Tim Morris blue female breeding of 2002, is breeding her.  Crazy is a highly melanistic super blue male with insane yellow contrasting blotches. These offspring will contain 62.5% pure blue line, 25% Houston Zoo blood and 12.5% biak outcrossed blood.  Thanks again to Sandro for giving us this opportunity.    UPDATE:  Eggs incubating now!     Green Tree Pythons  Blue Line Biak outcross PROJECT # 16 2009 Planned Pairing     SIRE: Blue Deuce Daddy Pants X Morris Blue Female Maroon nenate Sean Stewart  Biak Outcross X Blue Lineage Dam: Flower Girl Kim Heller   This highly fascinating pairing is a project between Kim Heller and us.  Flower Girl, owned by Kim, is a huge green female with white blotches and blue sides of unknown lineage.  She is a sibling to Chris Haight’s Snow White pictured below.  We are hoping by crossing this female to Blue Deuce (Daddy Pants X Tim Morris Blue female) we can produce animals that will display the blue traits in both animals with contrasting yellow and white markings.  Keep in mind that Blue Deuce is a clutchmate of Crazy and has the genes to produce not only super blues (as in 2006) but also chondros with yellow traits due to the Old Yeller blood.  Kim’s Flower girl seems to come from a high white line of animals where at least one sibling also expressed yellow markings!   UPDATE:  Maroon neonates available now. Green Tree Pythons  Calico X Biak/PNG PROJECT # 17 2009 Planned Pairing   SIRE: Darth Sidious Possible Het Merauke Outcross Brown neonate Rob B Maxwell Merauke outcross AZ Blue Line Dam: Biak/PNG Yellow neonate Christian Stewart Rich Culver This is a joint effort by Rob B, Christian Stewart and myself.  Another melanistic high yellow project.  The dam is a 2005 PNG X Biak yellow neonate offspring produced by Rich Culver.  The sire was a PNG animal named Wasabi and the dam a F1 Biak.  Darth Sidious, owned by Rob B, is a Pepper X merauke possible het blue line outcross male of unequaled looks.  We hope to produce offspring that will express the yellow and black traits from the biak blood, the yellow PNG traits and Sid’s melanistic traits.  We hope to use these offspring in future projects involving Sid’s other offspring.    UPDATE:  Female did not ovulate.   Green Tree Pythons  PROJECT # 18 Blue line outcross X Mustard 2007-8 Planned Pairing     Sire: Mint Chocolate Chip Grasshopper X Flecks Maroon neonate Steven Roberts  Blue Line Outcross Dam: Tulsa Mustard Paul Miles/Sean Stewart Tulsa Zoo Mustard This is a combined project with Steven Roberts, Paul Miles and us.  Tulsa is a mustard female produced at Tulsa Zoo in 1992.  Tulsa was produced from Tulsa Zoo’s wild founders and NZP-Von Mierop bloodlines.  Since the Van Mierop line has shown to carry melanistic traits, we thought there was great potential in crossing this mustard yellow female with the potential to throw melanistic offspring with a melanistic male from Flecks.  Offspring will have a great chance at being mustard, yellow and black.  The offspring will also contain Joan Collins blue line blood.    UPDATE:  Female died.   Green Tree Pythons  PROJECT # 19 2007-8 Planned Pairing SIRE: "Azure" Mr. Blue X Morris Blue Female Maroon neonate Sean Stewart Tim Morris/John Holland Blue Line Dam: Jaya female Maroon neonate Aaron Burke Fresh blue line blood project #4 for this year.  This is a pairing that we put together with Aaron Burke, owner of the dam.  We are combining the most concentrated blue line animal we own with an exceptional maroon neonate pure Jaya that shows blue and mite phase markings.
